The Church
The CHURCH: We believe in the one, holy, universal Church131. The church is the gathering of the Lord’s people, His children. All who repent132
of their sins and confess Jesus as their Lord and Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit133
and form the living Body of Christ134, the church, of which He is the head135. These born-again believers are the church and are being built together into a dwelling of GOD136.
God loves His children, the church, and frees them to love one another. He calls them to assemble together for worship and praise, for edification through the Scriptures, for prayer, ministry and for mutual encouragement137.
The Lord, Jesus Christ, calls His followers, the church, to be His disciples, His witness and to proclaim His Gospel throughout the world making disciples of every nation138.
