The Bible

The BIBLE: We believe that the Holy Spirit uniquely, verbally and fully inspired the human authors of the Holy Scriptures1. The Holy Scriptures, the Bible, is the written revelation of God and the sole basis of our beliefs.  We must first determine what the Bible teaches, and then judge our experience by the fixed standard of the written Word of God.  The Bible is the fixed standard and filter through which we establish our life and worldview2.  The Bible is without error3 in the original manuscripts, infallible, and God-breathed4.  We receive the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments as our final, absolute and supreme authority, to be the only perfect rule of faith5 and practice.
