GOD: We believe there is only one true and living God Who is perfect, personal, and infinite. From all eternity⁴ He exists eternally as the One⁵ Living⁶ and True⁷ God in three distinct Persons⁸, the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit: equal in power and glory⁹. God is the first Person of the Trinity. He is an infinite¹⁰, unchangeable¹¹ Spirit¹², perfect¹³ in holiness¹⁴, wisdom¹⁵, goodness¹⁶, justice¹⁷, power¹⁸ and love¹⁹. His kingdom is everlasting²⁰. He orders and disposes all things according to His own purpose and grace. He is sovereign in providence and redemption²¹. We believe He is the awe-inspiring, sovereign Creator of the universe, which He accomplished from no pre-existing substance, but by the creative power of His spoken Word²². He is Immutable²³, Omnipotent²⁴, Omnipresent²⁵, and Omniscient²⁶.
