The CHURCH: We believe in the one⁹⁶, holy⁹⁷, universal Church⁹⁸. Gathering His disciples⁹⁹, Jesus reconstituted God's people as His Church to be the instrument of His kingdom¹⁰⁰. All who repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Lord and Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit¹⁰¹ and form the living Body of Christ¹⁰², of which He is the head¹⁰³ and of which all true believers are members. God admonishes His people to assemble together regularly for worship, for participation in ordinances, for edification through the Scriptures and for mutual encouragement. Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world to disciple men of every nation¹⁰⁴. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us."
